![]() | The Southern California Chapter of the Netherland-America FoundationThe Southern California chapter of the Netherland-America Foundation (NAF) was formed in 2006.The Southern California Chapter of the NAF was formed shortly after the first President Bush declared November 16 as Dutch American Heritage Day in 1991. At the invitation of the Consul General of the Netherlands in Los Angeles, a group of people formed the Dutch American Heritage Day Association, which was later re-named the Dutch American Heritage Association and eventually became the Dutch American Heritage Foundation (DAHEF). One of the missions was to discover, promote, create and celebrate Dutch culture and share this with Americans of Dutch descent and other Americans. |
