As president of the NAF-BIZ business club, I herewith invite you to our next event on October 14 at the Beverly Hills Country Club in Los Angeles where we will welcome the Dutch ambassador in Washington, D.C., Mrs. Rene Jones-Bos, to deliver a keynote presentation on Dutch-American relations, focused on business affairs and economics.
Before joining the Dutch Foreign Ministry in 1981, Ambassador Jones was Assistant to the Agricultural Counselor at the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Moscow. Her first career was as a freelance interpreter and translator with Interlingua.
She is married to Dr. Richard Huw Jones and they have two children: Georgia who was born in Suriname and William, born in Washington, DC. Both their daughter and son are currently studying at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands.
